The City of Chowchilla will conduct a groundbreaking to signify the construction of a new 750,000 gallon water tank that when operational will significantly enhance municipal water service to the residents.
The public is invited to attend the Tuesday afternoon groundbreaking event.
Attendees will include the Chowchilla City Council and City staff, other area dignitaries and invited guests, corporate representatives of Johnson Controls, Inc.
We would like to invite your attendance to the event as well.
The groundbreaking will take place at the Chowchilla City Corporation Yard on Tuesday, October 23 at 4:00 PM. Access to the site is from N. Front Street just past Kings Avenue, about two blocks north of Robertson Boulevard.
This event will officially recognize another very significant accomplishment for the City of Chowchilla that will also highlight other major improvements to the City’s infrastructure. These improvements are being financed without the need to raise water and wastewater rates on the resident taxpayers.
Details about this and other projects and the financing tools will be shared during the ceremony.
Representatives from Johnson Controls, Inc. will be on-hand to describe how their partnership with the City of Chowchilla has and will produce quantifiable results.
We hope you can join us Tuesday afternoon for this significant milestone for the City of Chowchilla.
